REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
COUNTY OF AROOSTOOK
The County of Aroostook is soliciting bids for engineering services, site plan work, and all
associated project applications with the State of Maine/LUPC for a road repair project on the Dubay
Pit Road in Connor.
All products must adhere to and follow State of Maine – Land Use Planning Commission
(LUPC) Specifications.
Project:
Dubay Pit Road Engineering and Site Plan
A portion of the Dubay Pit Road along the river has loss of materials, dirt, and
rocks that are sluffing off into the river. Repairs to include dirt fill (if
necessary), geotextile fabric, rip rap, and any other required materials/work.
It is recommended that interested parties visit the project sites prior to submitting bids. If
need be, a County representative will meet with engineers on site. All questions should be
referred to John Gibson, Community Services Director, at 493-6306, or by cell at 227-7930.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked “County of Aroostook – Dubay Pit
Road Engineering Services – Do Not Open”, and delivered or mailed no later than 12:30 pm,
Friday, November 14th, 2025, at which time all bids will be opened and made available for public
review in the Administrative Hearing Room, Caribou Courthouse, 144 Sweden Street, Caribou, ME
04736.
