Project Description: NOTICE OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS:
Agronomed Land Development - Restoration and Stabilization
Public notice is given that sealed bids/proposals will be received online via the PennBid Program by the Borough of Upland by May 21, 2025 until 4:00 PM prevailing time.
Project Scope: The scope of work includes site improvements which includes, earthwork, asphalt pavement, concrete sidewalk, concrete curb, completion of installation of underground basin, site stabilization and other site incidental site improvements.
There will be a non-mandatory walk-through on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Interested proposers will meet onsite at 400 W. 24th Street, Upland, PA 19015.
Plans, specifications, information for bidders and forms for proposals may be obtained or examined Online via PENNBID.
There is no physical public bid opening for this project, bids will be revealed via the PennBid website. (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com).
The Successful Bidder Who Is Awarded The Contract, Will Be Required To Pay “PennBid” A Fee Of 0.0033% (⅓ of 1 percent) up to $5,000 Of The Contract Award Value.
All interested parties must submit questions via PennBid website
(https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/login) by the posted deadline. Bidders are not permitted to contact
the Borough Engineer or staff directly.
Bidders are required to submit a surety in the form of a bond or equivalent meeting 10% of the overall bid
price in compliance with the contract documents. Bid bonds will be returned to the non-awarded bidders
upon the execution of the contract. The successful Bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance
Bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days
of receipt of written notice of acceptance of the Bid.
The bidders are made aware that the project is subject to PA Prevailing Wage Requirements.
The contract documents contain all pertinent regulations. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or
all bids or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award contracts as is deemed best for the Borough.
