Notice of Intent to Release Design-Build Request for Qualifications (RFQ) in early 2025

NOTICE: Chicago Public Schools intends to release a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a new Design-Build vendor pool (Phase I) in March or April (tentative) of 2025. This for a pre-qualified pool only.
This pre-qualified Design-Build pool of vendors will be the sole provider of future CPS Design-Build construction projects (Phase II). Only those Design-Build firms selected in the upcoming RFQ who are awarded contracts, execute said contracts, and receive Board of Education approval may be invited to do Phase II Design-Build work. Therefore if you are interested in Design-Build projects, you must submit to this Phase I RFQ.
This Notice of Intent is intended to alert interested construction firms, architect/engineer firms, and other qualified Design-Build firms of this opportunity. Joint Venture submissions will be accepted. No paperwork is required at this time, this is only a notice of intent to release an RFQ.
