Solicitation Summary
This project consists of furnishing all labor, overhead, equipment, materials, incidentals, supervision, insurance, and services necessary for and incidental to maintaining and cleaning two boilers in the Maryland Archaeological Conservation Laboratory (MAC Lab), Bldg. 31, 10505 Mackall Road, located in Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum (JPPM). This includes associated equipment.
Contractors may utilize their standard bid form, but please include this filled in and signed IFB. In addition, the contractor will submit

-- Bid/Proposal Affidavit.
-- Conflict of Interest Affidavit and Disclosure.
-- Completed reference sheets.
-- Proof of manufacturer’s training.
-- Company’s certificates of insurance.
-- Acknowledgement of receipt of any amendment(s) to this IFB.
JPPM will regard any bids from contractors without the required paperwork, received after the due date, or received without the completed IFB as non-responsive. Contractors may mail, fax, or e-mail their bids. Bids must be received by the due date.
This Contract is for a period of three years, beginning January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2028, 2030.
Offerors must submit a proposal to the e-mail address listed below and be received no later than 3:00 pm on November 13, 2025. Any proposal received after this time and date will not be accepted.
The proposal package must be submitted according to Section III in the specifications titled “Bid Submission Packet” and must include:
1. The filled in and completed Invitation for Bid form.
2. Completed “Bid Affidavit Form”.
3. Completed “Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form”.
4. References, submitted on the Reference Form.
5. Proof of manufacturer’s training on equipment listed in the specifications.
6. Current insurance certificates.
7. Acknowledgement of receipt of any amendment(s) to this IFB. Please supply a letter on the company’s letterhead acknowledging receipt of amendments.
8. Completed No Reply Form if not bidding.

A prebid meeting will be held on October 28, 2025, at 9:00 AM, in the Maintenance Office. A site visit will follow.
SPECIAL NOTE: The MAC Lab is under construction. Everyone entering the building must wear appropriate safety equipment. Please bring and wear appropriate safety equipment that includes appropriate work clothing, safety toed shoes or boots, safety glasses, high visibility vests or clothing, and hard hats.
