Description
The Douglas County Sheriff (DCSO), through the Douglas County Board of Commissioners, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms and/ or individuals to provide Inmate Medical Services at the Douglas County Jail. The Douglas County Jail is a large urban correctional facility that currently holds male and female inmates. The Jail consists of a state-of-the-art high-rise facility utilizing a modular design. The average daily population of the Jail changes monthly and has been as low as 476 and as high as 717 in the preceding years. The inmate population includes approximately 19% female offenders detained by the courts in the Douglas County Jail.
