Bid Type: Request for Proposal Locations: Addison Keywords: Consultant Services, Planning and Design Services, Transportation Planning Bid Description: The Town of Leicester seeks planning and design services to develop a Traffic Calming Plan around the intersection of U.S. 7, the Whiting-Leicester Rd., and Fern Lake Rd. (Leicester Four Corners). Leicester does not have a reduced speed limit on any portion of U.S. 7 running through the town, and the current roadway character would not likely support lowering the speed limit. The Town would like to explore traffic calming measures that would lead to improved safety for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists, and reduced vehicle speeds through this intersection.
