Description
General
Statements of qualifications and proposals are being requested from engineering firms with a strong record in successfully assisting local governments with the implementation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs. Responding firms should be technically qualified and licensed in the State of Georgia to provide these services.
The Madison County Board of Commissioners plans to contract for engineering preliminary design services required for a potential FY25 CDBG project and, if funded, for engineering services for the implementation of the project. The purpose of the project is to expand approximately 1.5 miles of water services to serve 56 residences along sections of Stone Stewart Road, Griffeth Road, Shady Lane, and Northwood Circle in Madison County.
The RFQ is issued by the Madison County Board of Commissioners with technical assistance provided by the Northeast Georgia Regional Commission (NEGRC).
