Design of a Replacement Fly System at the Bowie Playhouse

The City of Bowie is seeking proposals for professional services to provide comprehensive architectural, engineering, estimating, bidding, and permitting services for a replacement Fly System at the Bowie Playhouse, located at 16500 White Marsh Drive, Bowie, MD, 20715.  Complete specifications and bid documents may be obtained at no cost through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/5431 . Registration to use Bid Locker is at https://bidlocker.us/Account/Signup and is free to all interested parties.

Electronic (pdf) proposals will be received through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/5431 until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025. The City of Bowie reserves the right to reject any proposals.

Interested offerors are encouraged to attend the pre-proposal meeting scheduled at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.  This meeting will be held onsite at the Bowie Playhouse.

All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this RFP are required to be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/5431 , prior to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.  Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarifications will be issued no later than Wednesday, November 12, 2025, to all those who have expressed interest in this RFP through the Bid Locker platform.

The City encourages certified disadvantaged business entities to submit a bid.
