CDBG - Tenant Based Rental Assistance

Dane County is soliciting applications from organizations interested in operating a tenant based rental assistance program. Funding is being made available under the Home Investment Partnership (HOME) Program. Please refer to the attached documents for additional details.

Dane County requires that all applicants complete the Vendor Questionnaire/RFP application in its entirety and sign the Signature Power Form at the end of the Questionnaire. Failure to do so may result in the application to become ineligible for funding and may not be scored.

Dane County intends to use the results of this process to make an award to subrecipients of HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds. The total amount of HOME funding available in 2026 is unknown at this time. It is estimated that Dane County may have up to $600,000 in HOME funds that will be disbursed among several HOME Categories, including the Tenant-Based Rental Assistance category.
