Right now, each 10’x10’ door is manually opened. Each year, these sectional doors (along with all the automated doors on campus) are checked to ensure they are balanced, lubricated, and running safely. Despite this effort, it is still possible for a manual door to come down on its own for a variety of reasons. During a recent discussion with one of the FEIB investigators, it was relayed that having one (or both) overhead sectional doors automated would be a useful tool for him/them to use. Typically, there is just one individual working on the vehicle accessory change-outs so having the ability to open/close the door(s) from one location will help save time and can potentially reduce the potential of the door coming down unexpectedly. (The vendor will need to verify if there is adequate power available to support operation of two independent-automated garage door openers. ) This request is to add automatic garage door openers to both doors (if the existing power configuration can support it). In the event only one door can be supported using the existing power configuration, then only one automated door opener is requested. At this time, any door seals or bent door panels that should be replaced. Once installation is completed, check torsion bar/spring for proper settings and verify the door is properly balanced and that all rollers are operating smoothly.

Current State Contract or Agreement.  If the products and/or services are currently contracted under a Department of Administrative Services (“DAS”) Contract, State Term Schedule (“STS”), Master Maintenance Agreement (“MMA”) or Master Cloud Services Agreement (“MCSA”), provide the contract number and confirm your quote pricing matches what is listed in the pricing section of the DAS contract.  If the pricing contained in your responsive documents fails to match the DAS contract pricing, your quote may be rejected.If the product and/or service requested is not quoted from an existing DAS Contract or Agreement, please provide supplier’s Software License Agreement, Maintenance Agreement, and Terms and Conditions documentation when quoting.If not all products and/or services are referenced on a DAS Contract, please provide two separate quotes: one for products and/or services addressed in the DAS contract and one for the products and/or services not addressed by the DAS contract.If signature is required for products and/or services not addressed by the DAS contract, please provide the agreement and/or terms and conditions related to the purchase.
