Consultant Services for South Sacramento Habitat Conservation Plan (SSHCP) Permit Processing Support

The City of Rancho Cordova (City) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified environmental and planning consulting firms to assist City staff with tasks related to the implementation and processing of permits under the South Sacramento Habitat Conservation Plan (SSHCP).

The SSHCP is a regional plan that streamlines environmental permitting and coordinates habitat conservation and development activities within southern Sacramento County. The City of Rancho Cordova is a Plan Permittee under the SSHCP, with responsibilities that include processing covered activities, ensuring compliance with permit conditions, coordinating with the South Sacramento Conservation Agency (SSCA), and contributing to long-term habitat conservation and monitoring.

The City seeks one or more qualified consulting firms to provide on-call technical support for SSHCP implementation, permit processing, and related biological and environmental review tasks.
