RFI- Re-locatable Tower Security Fencing Requirements
NAICS: 237130 ($45M size standard)
The purpose of this announcement is to solicit statements of interest, capabilities from businesses interested in and capable of providing the fencing panels in accordance with the Statement of Work (attachment 1)
FAA’S NEED:
Eight-Foot (8’) Panels (including all bases and posts) 163 each
Sixteen-Foot (16’) swing gate (including all bases and posts) 4 each
Four-Foot (4’) Panels (including all bases and posts) 4 each
Four-Foot (4’) Gate (including all bases and posts) 4 each
All Hardware needed for installation of the fences
Bilingual Signage (24” in height and 18” in width) 24 each
Currently the FAA is researching options that are acceptable for the specifications in the Statement of Work. As such, the procurement strategy has not yet been determined, and this announcement is for FAA market research purposes only. The FAA may decide any future procurement to be full and open competition, set aside for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program if a competitive environment appears to exist among these groups.
Responses to this announcement will be used for FAA information and planning purposes only. This is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or request for proposals of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this RFI. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor’s expense.
