Project Description: Scope of Work:
Broward County Port Everglades Department is seeking a qualified firm to provide shore power electrification design for large cruise ship berths. Consultant shall be experienced in the areas of concrete encased underground duct-bank design in conformance with Florida Power and Light electric utility provider requirements, geotechnical investigations, existing utility investigations, utility relocation design/coordination, large near-berth electrification equipment siting and design (transformers, switch gear, berth-side electrification vaults, cable management systems), concrete foundation engineering (pile supported and slab on grade), regulatory agency permitting, construction cost estimating, project scheduling, construction contract administration (CA), and construction engineering and inspection (CEI).

It is solely the Vendor’s responsibility to ensure its response is submitted and received through Bonfire BPRO by the closing date and time. The County will not consider solicitation responses received by other means. Vendors are encouraged to submit in advance of the closing date and time.
