The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action for the procurement of the following items:
The contractor shall provide all necessary tools, equipment, transportation, personnel, labor, supervision, and management required to perform comprehensive Computer Numerical Control (CNC) annual preventative maintenance and repair services for six (6) HAAS Brand CNC machines located in the Machine Shop at the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) complex, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (DMAFB), Arizona. Machine Models as follows:
This requirement is accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b) “Soliciting from a single source”. HAAS, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the above listed machinery. HAAS, Inc. has identified a single authorized distributor for all associated factory certified service, repairs, training and applications work. This is a notice of intent to award a BRAND NAME, sole-source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge this sole source action must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm’s technical expertise, certifications and authorization to compete for this acquisition as an authorized service provider for this equipment. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond by Monday, 17 March 2025 at 7:00AM PST to Contracting Officer Patricia Murray at email: patricia.murray.6@us.af.mil or phone (520)228-3095. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
