RFP - Request For Proposal
Description
This RFP seeks one or more individuals or firms qualified to provide services under one or more of the following program categories (described in detail in Section B. Scope of Work), in accordance with LAHD’s goals and objectives:
1. CATEGORY 1: Licensed General Contractor Construction Services: This includes program administration; collection of completed application packages, including income, qualifying and ownership documentation, from qualified constituents, habitability home assessment; scope of work, application for required permits; and, inspection of completed work by Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety. Proposers can apply for one or more of the defined Neighborhood Service Areas (see Exhibit C).
2. CATEGORY 2: Lead Laboratory Testing: Must be certified through the National Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program (NLLAP). Ability to receive and test dust wipe samples with both Flame-Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (Flame-AA) and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) methods for the detection of lead.
