• Negotiated Request for Proposal
The intent of this project is to secure bids for the design and upfitting of a 1 Ton Cargo Van which will serve as a mobile command unit for Lethbridge Fire & EMS (LFES). LFES utilizes mobile command centres during high-risk/critical incidents to provide a centralized location for emergency planning, coordination, communication and control operations.
Scope
This will be a one-time purchase for the aftermarket design, supply and installation of upfitting equipment and material only. The vehicle, a 2024 Ford Transit 350 with high roof and extended wheelbase, has already been procured and delivered to Fleet Services in Lethbridge, AB. Specific functional and operational requirements will be provided in the attached documents, however it is expected that the proposed design shall include storage, workstation, emergency lighting and IT communication solutions. Proponents will be asked to provide detailed design drawings in their proposals.
