The City of Poplar Bluff, Missouri (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified financial institutions for a short-term bridge loan to cover losses and immediate expenditures resulting from the March 14, 2025 tornado while the City awaits reimbursement from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for Major Disaster Declaration FEMA-4867-DR. The grand total for the loan will not exceed $2,000,000. The City proposes a single payment due December 31, 2026. Interest payment(s) negotiable.
All proposals must be submitted by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 to the City Clerk, 501 Vine Street, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, 63901, in a sealed envelope marked “Short-Term Bridge Loan – Major Disaster Declaration FEMA-4867-DR”.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to negotiate any particulars in the proposals received.
