APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
Army Protocol has traditionally used a combination of tools to manage events, streamlining information and managing the database necessary for executing Army Senior Leader-hosted events.
The e-invitation site, a service for the Department of Defense and the U.S. Government managed by the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), serves as the invitation platform utilized by Army Protocol to create invitations and track/manage reservations (RSVPs)
In addition to e-invitation, Army Protocol employs Microsoft Access to track and manage information extracted from e-invitation. Army Protocol uses the database to create programs, seating-charts, and event products required for the event.
With e-invitation scheduled to sunset in August 2025 and Microsoft Access soon to expire, Army Protocol requires new event management software or an application that can provide similar, if not enhanced, capabilities to those currently offered by e-invitation. This new solution should enable the Army Protocol office to create invitations and manage essential RSVP information effectively.
Amendment 001: Correct the submission date on the Sources Sought Notice to 19 June 2025.
