Targeted Interior Renovations - Various Buildings – Renovate Welding Lab
Description:

The work of this single bid project includes the renovation and mechanical upgrade of the Welding Building to support program growth and modernize outdated systems. The scope includes interior demolition and replacement of the existing HVAC and fume extraction systems, along with the installation of a new central exterior extraction unit. Additional work includes new ductwork, upgraded lighting, fire alarm modifications, infrastructure to support welding equipment, and ceiling replacements. Site work will include concrete pads for electrical equipment and the extraction unit, exterior supports for ductwork, and other repairs to exterior systems.

Plans will be available after July 29, 2025, through Avalon (716-995-7777 & avalonbuff-planroom.com/projects/public ).

A project walk-through has been scheduled for August 13, 2025, at 10:00am, meeting at the Wall Service Complex.

All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 3/22 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
