Cafeteria and Catering Services

NYSTRS is seeking bids from qualified and experienced food service vendors to operate its cafeteria and provide food, beverage and catering services at our offices located at 10 Corporate Woods Drive, Albany, New York. NYSTRS constructed the office building in 1984 and is the sole occupant. The food service area of the building was completely renovated in 2013, providing easy access to the loading dock as well as kitchen storage area with freezers and coolers.

The objective is to provide the NYSTRS community with a full range of fresh, nutritious, affordable, and tasty food and beverages through the management and operation of the dining room, cafeteria, catering services, and related activities, as further described in this RFP. NYSTRS is looking for a relationship that will distinguish itself with high value and satisfaction and be viewed as successful by both parties as well as NYSTRS staff and guests. Bidders should take into account the tastes and needs of NYSTRS diverse population, including but not limited to those with vegetarian and vegan diets.
