The City of Birmingham is seeking proposals from qualified applied research institutions or independent researchers to provide research support funded by the City through a grant award from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program. The selected respondent will work with City staff to develop a Green Economic Development Strategy and an accompanying Youth Apprenticeship Program that enables Birmingham's young residents to access quality employment opportunities in the clean energy sector
