Description:
Through this RFS, Department of Health Services (DHS) intends to award a Work Order, subordinate to the Professional and Technical Services Master Agreement (PATSMA) to a qualified corporation, firm, or individual (Vendor), who can provide Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Consulting Services.

Vendors interested in this RFS, who do not have an executed PATSMA, must also respond and be awarded a PATSMA through the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a PATSMA available at https://doingbusiness.lacounty.gov/. The selected Vendor must have an executed PATSMA with DHS prior to award of a Work Order pursuant to this RFS.

Contractor shall lead the end-to-end development and submission of the initial Look-Alike initial Designation (LAL-ID), Medi-Cal, and Medicare applications for FQHC designation. This includes conducting a comprehensive readiness assessment, identifying and addressing gaps in compliance with HRSA’s Health Center Program requirements, coordinating the collection and preparation of all required documentation, and participation in HRSA’s operational site visit. Contractor shall also serve as the primary liaison with HRSA throughout the application review process, responding to requests for additional information and facilitating site visits or virtual assessments as needed.
