Description

The scope of work includes providing monthly onsite inspections, water testing, and chemical water treating for the Central Plant cooling towers, Central Plant condensing boilers, Central Plant water softener, Central Plant heating closed loop, Central Plant cooling closed loop, SSB cooling tower, and SSB closed loop. The contractor shall also test and report the makeup water characteristics. The contractor shall chemically treat the water to keep systems free from scale, corrosion, and microbiological contamination. The contractor shall also treat the water to keep from freezing. The results of these inspections and testing along with the associated chemical treatment actions shall be summarized in a monthly report to the COR. The contractor shall provide all chemical testing reagents, testing kits, testing instrumentation, and treatment chemicals. Testing shall occur mid-month to ensure testing occurs during each calendar month as required by Joint Commission standards.
