The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) is looking for qualified vendors to provide snow removal services. We currently own and maintain Right of Way properties in the specified district. Snow removal service will be needed for the sidewalks, frontage road, and properties listed.
Contract Award
Award will be made for any one group or combination of groups. All items within a group must be bid to be considered for a group award.
It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible contractor whose submitted quote is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule
.
Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders past work performance, and work capacity.
Contract Period
The Contractor will be awarded a one (1) year contract with an option to renew for Five (5) additional years in twelve (12) month increments.
