Description:
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the FMS 17 - San Diego Crane Testing and Certification located at FMS 17 - San Diego, 3171 Armstrong Street, San Diego, CA 92111. Work to include: The Contractor will provide all equipment, materials, and labor necessary to test and certify the Overhead Crane Testing. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov with the subject title BID FOR EVENT# 37069 - DO NOT OPEN.
Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 11/4/2025, at 10:00 AM at FMS 17 - San Diego, 3171 Armstrong Street, San Diego, CA 92111. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Failure to arrive at the designated meeting location by the scheduled start time may result in disqualification from submitting a bid. Prospective bidders shall not proceed directly to the job site unless directed to do so in writing by the Contracting Officer. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Joy Lubic at Joy.Lubic@cmd.ca.gov.
Prospective bidders MUST sign-in prior to the start of the pre-bid job walk, attend the entire pre-bid job walk and be present for roll call at the conclusion of the pre-bid job walk. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk will be considered non-responsive and will not be allowed to bid on this project.
The prime contractor MUST Possess a type D-21 ¿ Machinery and Pumps Contractor License or subcontract to one.
All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Joy Lubic, at Joy.Lubic@cmd.ca.gov no later than 4:00 PM on 11/12/2025. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 37069.
If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The bid opening will be held on 11/20/2025 at 2:00 PM.
