BINDER 2026 Jefferson County RFP Rocky Brook Lower Dosewallips River
Introduction
Jefferson County is seeking a multi-disciplined engineering firm to provide civil and structural engineering, surveying, geotechnical engineering, geology, hydrology and hydraulic analysis, and environmental assessments and permitting (Exhibit A) to develop preliminary and final habitat restoration designs and associated permits for a portion of the Dosewallips River and floodplain (River Mile 3 .6 to 4.0) upstream of the community of Brinnon, WA. The project is funded through a grant agreement between Jefferson County and the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) Salmon Recovery Funding Board (SRFB). The primary deliverable is a construction-ready design package including all necessary local, state, and federal permit applications to restore critical spawning and rearing habitat for Hood Canal summer chum and Puget Sound Chinook salmon.
