BACKGROUND & SCOPE
SWRMC is conducting market research to identify qualified and interested sources capable of performing urgent repair work on the USS GABRIELLE GIFFORDS (LCS-10).
Current Vessel Status: The vessel is currently undergoing a scheduled availability and is physically located in a drydock at the incumbent Prime Contractor’s facility, Vigor Marine LLC, Seattle, WA.
Scope of Work (High-Level):
The requirement consists of repair to severely degraded exterior shell plating of the AMAH Port and Starboard exterior AMAH’s which are comprised of aluminum material. The work involves preserving, procuring, and applying a polysulfide sealant to the exterior shell. Upon completion of curing, the repair will require surface preparation utilizing NAVSEA procedures as identified in SSPC-SP 1 and accomplishment of the NAVSEA Standard Item 009-32. All safety regulations must be complied with during repair.

Interested parties are requested to submit a brief Capability Statement (maximum 1 page). To assist the Government in its market research, respondents must address the following specific questions in their submission:
