QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
GRUPE PARK PICKLEBALL COURTS
PROJECT NO. WP25033
DEADLINES FOR QUESTIONS: March 19, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
QUESTION: Why are you not having a Mandatory Bid Walk?
ANSWER: A mandatory bid walk is not required by the City.
QUESTION: I am trying to find the specifications pages that provide the specific product
name and manufacturer for the reinforcing fabric for the Asphalt Crack Repair - Detail #
4 on Sheet No C4.0 (6 of 7) of the plans. I need a product name and manufacturer so
that a standard is set, so I know which product to either bid or provide for consideration
as an alternative. As the plans are read now, there is no way to properly bid for this
requirement of the bid.
ANSWER: See Special Provisions Section 18-1.7 Materials on pages 32-34 for
pickleball court surfacing products.
QUESTION: I am also looking for the product name, manufacturer and the detailed
number of applications of which products are to be applied for the reinforcing fabric for
the Asphalt Crack Repair of Detail # 4; as well as how many coats of which acrylic color
manufacturer's product and which acrylic color products are to be applied? As of the
reading of the specs and plans, nothing can be bid for this required process of the
project.
ANSWER: See Special Provisions Section 18-1.7 Materials on pages 32-34 for
pickleball court surfacing products. See Special Provisions Section 18-1.10 Application
on page 35 for application requirements of court surfacing products.
