INVITATION TO BID
Pursuant to Section 143-129 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, sealed proposals for the furnishing of materials, labor and equipment for the construction of the Spring 2026 Street Resurfacing Project (Country Club Drive Improvements) will be received on or before 2:30 pm, on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026, to the Public Services Director Mike Horney at the City of Lexington City Hall, 28 W. Center Street, Lexington, North Carolina 27292 at which time and place bids will be opened and read aloud.

± 1,075 TN Asphalt Surface Course S9.5C
± 9,345 SY Full Depth Reclamation
Including but not limited to: adjustment of manholes and water valves, concrete flatwork, and all other associated work. The quantities displayed above are estimates.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026, at 10:30am to discuss the project requirements and expectations via Microsoft Teams Meeting. Meeting details are on page 00200-1(Invitation to Bid) of the project manual. The meeting is not mandatory but is recommended.
