17th Street Drainage Improvement Project

The City of Anacortes (“City” or “Owner”) will accept sealed bids for “17th Street Drainage Improvement Project #C2026-0255” until 3:00 p.m., local time on September 30, 2026, when bids will be publicly opened and read through Zoom. The City will not consider bids received after that time and date. Sealed Bids are to be submitted online to City of Anacortes eProcurement portal, Bonfire, at https://anacortes.bonfirehub.com no later than due date and time listed in solicitation document. All Bids and Proposal will be electronically date and time stamped as they are submitted. Bids cannot be accepted if submitted by hard copy, mail, facsimile, or e-mail.

Project Description: The work provided for this project will include all materials, equipment, labor, and related items necessary to install more than 900 LF of 24” polyvinyl chloride (PVC) stormwater pipe and more than 100 LF of 21” PVC stormwater pipe, make connections to the existing stormwater system, install six 48” Type 2 catch basins, install one Type 1L catch basin, HMA trench patching, fill in a ditch with suitable material, install outfall protection, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.

Bid Deposit: Bidders must submit a bid deposit equal to 5% of the bid amount. The deposit may be in cashier’s check, postal money order, or surety bond and must be delivered before the bid submittal deadline to the City of Anacortes, City Clerk, PO Box 547, 904 6th St, Anacortes, WA 98221. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bonds for the faithful performance of the work, as prescribed in the Bidding Documents.

Engineer’s Estimate: $380,000.00 to $475,000.00
