Bids will be received by the City of Sidney electronically through Bid Express until 2:30 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, January 29,2025, at which time they will be electronically opened and reviewed.
Plans, Specifications, and bid forms will be available through the Bid Express website at

. All electronic bidders must register with Bid Express in order to submit a bid (please allow time for processing). Registration with Bid Express is free. Contractors and/or Subcontractors can view and download information free of charge. In order to submit an electronic bid, the bidder will need to pay a per bid fee or a monthly subscription fee for unlimited bids. The project consists of general, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical ,and technology work for construction of new fire station and related site work.
A Mandatory Pre·Bid Meeting will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024 in the Council Chambers located on the second floor of the Municipal Building, 201 W. Poplar Street, Sidney, Ohio.
Any and all questions regarding the referenced project must be submitted through the Bid Express website no later than 1:00 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, January 23, 2025. Questions submitted outside of Bid Express will not be answered.
The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio for Building Construction.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of Sidney reserves the right to waive any irregularities, to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the bidder deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Sidney.
