Overview:
Minneapolis Public Schools is seeking qualifications and quotes/pricing/proposals for General Sewer
System Services. The vendor is expected to provide general septic maintenance and repair services to
augment the District's existing work force. Emergency/after-hour work shifts may be necessary. General
sewer system repair requests may be assigned on a priority basis.
Project Scope
Desired services include:
* General grease trap pumping (located at 30+ sites district wide)
* Flammable tank pumping
* Baffle cleaning
* Thawing frozen drain lines
* Jetting/clearing clogged drain lines and system repair/replacements, as required Both Interior
and exterior.
Desired Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
* 2 Years Experience working with a municipality or other school district
* General equipment list and rates
* Supervisor rate
* First shift times and rate
* Second shift times and rate
* Emergency rate
* Material cost mark-up rate as a percentage of list price
* Disposal fees
* 2 people and truck cost
* Condo pump
* Normal working hours: 6:30-2:30
* Will work with MPS Plumber onsite
* Mandatory pre-bid walkthrough at one site on 6/16/26 at 7:30am at Edison High School-700
22nd ave NE. MPLS MN. Meet at the Loading Dock (east Side of the building).
* All bids due June 23, 2026 at noon CST.
Project Duration:
* July 1, 2026-June 30, 2028

Project Budget Available:
* $45,000.00 per year
