The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Office of Facilities Maintenance (FMNT) is seeking to establish a formal procurement contract to support the repair, purchase, and rental of essential cleaning and maintenance equipment¿including pressure washers, shop vacuums, and related machinery¿across WMATA facilities. Through this contract, WMATA will secure timely, on-site and off-site repair services, streamlined access to replacement equipment when needed, and full availability of parts, components, and consumables to maintain operational readiness. Ensuring the availability of safe, efficient equipment is critical for staff to execute daily maintenance tasks and respond effectively to both routine and emergency assignment requirements. This procurement will help prevent equipment-related delays and failures, enabling uninterrupted upkeep of stations and facilities system-wide, while enhancing safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness through dependable service response and reliable supply of OEM-quality parts.
