Base Bid is for the complete rehabilitation of the south entrance. Alternate 1 notes support
the option to reuse the existing foundation. Pricing should not reflect reuse of the
foundation. If at the time of construction the foundation is determined to be reused, the
Village may request a negotiated credit for the foundation work. Proposed pricing should
not reflect this credit.
Alternate #2 - No change from Addendum #1.
Alternate #3 - No change from Addendum #1.
COMPUTER TOTAL BASE BID – No change from Addendum #1.

credit for foundation reuse will be negotiated during construction.

What is the existing concrete paved drive detail for alternate 3? What is existing thickness,
gravel thickness, etc? Existing thickness is unknown – assume existing 8” pavement.
