The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish contracts through competitive negotiation for the purchase of Training and Consultation Services for DBHDSâs Treatment and Community Stabilization of individuals with personality disorders. The RFP is a result of 2022 Virginia General Assembly Special Session 1 Budget Bill - HB30, Chapter 2, Item 312, Item O, directing DBHDS to pursue alternative inpatient options to state behavioral health hospital care or to increase capacity in the community for patients on the Extraordinary Barriers List through projects that will reduce census pressures on state hospitals.
