B5698: Requirements Contract for Repair of Emergency Generators


Description: The Scope of Work of this Contract shall include but not be limited to providing all labor, material and supervision required and necessary to provide routine maintenance and repair of Emergency Generators. The Contract work may include but not be limited to ignition, engine, oil filters, fan belts, exhaust system, fuel system, battery, starter, motor, solenoid terminals, voltage regulators, control panel relays, wiring and terminals, voltage sensors, and all transfer switches. Work to control panels and control software will also be required. In rare instances this may entail the replacement of the entire generator or major components of the system. in accordance with the provisions of the New York City Building Code in designated schools and buildings under the jurisdiction of the Board of Education of City of New York when ordered to do so in writing by the Chief Executive Officer or authorized.
