ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The City of Trinidad, 135 North Animas, Trinidad, Colorado 81082, will receive separate sealed BIDS for: PROJECT #15-2026 Fox West Theatre Stage Leveling and Mechanical Renovations. Scope of work: To stabilize the existing stage at the Fox West Theatre and remove and replace the existing HVAC system with a newly designed system.

BIDS will be received by the Engineering Department until 2 PM  September 25 ^tu , 2026, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations:

Plans and specifications are available from the City of Trinidad.  Bids may be hand-delivered to City Hall or the Annex or mailed to: City of Trinidad Building Department, 135 North Animas Street, PO Box 880, Trinidad, CO 81082.

Delivered bids must be placed in one envelope, securely sealed and clearly labeled PROJECT #15-2026 Fox West Theatre Stage Leveling and Mechanical Renovations Bids sent by a carrier service (USPS, etc.) must be sealed and clearly labeled and placed in an outer envelope for mailing. The City of Trinidad will not be responsible for premature opening of bids not properly labeled.  Only bids received by the Building Department on or before the aforesaid date and hour set for closing of this Invitation For Bid (IFB) will be eligible for consideration.  Any bid received after the closing time, regardless of the method of delivery, will be returned unopened to the bidder.  Bids may not be withdrawn after the closing time.

All bids will be evaluated and selections made as soon as possible after the bid opening.  Award of bid is subject to approval by City Council.  Bids shall be valid for a minimum of sixty days following the bid opening.  The City of Trinidad reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to award orders for the items described either in whole or in part, if it seems to be in the best interest of the City to do so.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on September 3, at 10:30 AM at Fox Theater , Trinidad, CO 81082.
