Project Description: THE FORCE MAIN REPAIRS AND AIR VALVE REPLACEMENTS (VARIOUS LOCATIONS) - CONTRACT NO. 1163 Project generally consists of the removal and replacement of air release valves on the Darlington and Franklin Lakes sanitary sewer force mains and the investigation of defects, identified by inspections performed by Pure Technologies in 2022 and 2023, on the Ho-Ho-Kus and Darlington sanitary sewer force mains. The project will consist of excavating and exposing the defect locations on the force mains, performing electromagnetic testing to determine the extent of pipe wall loss, and rehabilitating the defect locations using a repair clamp, as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents.
