This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). This is a notice for sources sought and is intended to compile a list of companies interested in receiving the formal RFQ. Quotes will not be accepted at this time. The information provided in this document is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure supplies or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay direct or indirect costs or charges that arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this notice or the Government’s use of such information.

The period of performance for this Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) is expected to be from September 30, 2025 – September 29, 2030.

The purpose of this BPA is to procure Bren-Tronics brand name lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, part number (BT-70780AT), military number (BB-2800/U) for use in the U.S. Navy’s Communications/Navigation Radio Frequency Avionics Flight Line Tester (CRAFT).

All Potential offerors having skills, experience, professional qualifications, and capabilities necessary to perform the described requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via e-mail. The Capability statements shall not exceed four (4) pages and must include the following: 1) Company name and Point of Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail, web-site, etc); 2) DUNS and/or SAM ID number and Cage code; and (3) Familiarity and product knowledge.

Vendors who choose to respond to this Sources Sought Notice need to include their business size and their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this proposed acquisition (335910). Your responses to this information will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible.

Basis for Award:

The Government’s intent is to make an award to the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) quote. The Government anticipates selecting an awardee and issuing a single source BPA award. The PSC is 6140 and the NAICS code is 335910.

Response Submittal Due Date/Time:

Responses are not required for Quoters that are not interested in the RFQ for Lithium-Ion Batteries, Rechargeable.

To receive the RFQ for Lithium-Ion Batteries, Rechargeable, all interested responses should be submitted on or before May 14, 2025 at 4:00 PM EST directly to the Contract Specialist, Matthew McKeever, matthew.mckeever@gsa.gov and Contracting Officer, Phil Cleveland, phillip.cleveland@gsa.gov.

Response Submittal Instructions:

Quoters will receive the RFQ for Lithium-Ion Batteries, Rechargeable by following the instructions listed below:

• Quoters shall reply with an affirmative response to this RFI as instructed above.
