This is a presolicitation notice for the Repair Airfield Manhole Damage Service, for 374th Communications Squadron (374 CS), Yokota Air Base, Japan.
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, management, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and any other items or services necessary to Repair Airfield Manhole and Conduit Damage Service for 374 CS, Yokota Air Base, Japan. The contractor shall perform in accordance with the Performance Work Statement, commercial standards, repair existing manhole and communication conduct.
The contractor shall be responsible for their employees have the following current and valid professional certification for the entire life of this contract. A copy of the certificates or permits must be submitted prior to contract award.
Electric Communication Work (Conduit) Certified by Government of Japan or U.S. Government
Civil Work (Excavation) Certified by Government of Japan or U.S. Government
Concrete Work (Concrete Encasement) Certified by Government of Japan or U.S. Government
Note 1: All work for this project shall be performed exclusively in Japan. The contract price shall be inclusive of all expenses required for project execution.
Note 2: The Contractor shall have at least three (3) years of experience in construction, network cabling installation and/or maintenance and testing. At minimum, key personnel shall have a professional knowledge of communications engineering concepts, principles and practices and extensive familiarity with other engineering disciplines; knowledge of a broad range of networking standards, methods, practices, techniques, materials and equipment to ensure work is in compliance with regulations and standards, and at least 3 years of experience.
