The Edgar Lakes levee in Roots, Illinois was decertified by FEMA raising the Base Flood Elevation, BFE, 12.2 feet from Elevation 380.0 to Elevation 392.2. This procurement will provide engineering services to study the impacts of raising the electrical and mechanical components above the BFE plus one foot of freeboard. The Consultant will prepare and furnish a technical report and cost estimate for the impacts of raising the BFE. An extension of contract OWR-345A duration from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027, will allow for the additional work.
