This project encompasses the demolition and reconstruction of an existing perimeter boundary wall, along with associated site improvements. Work begins with erecting a temporary iron-sheet fence with razor wire for site security, followed by demolition of the existing wall, tree/root clearing, and removal of debris. Construction includes excavation to 900mm, concrete blinding, reinforced strip footings, columns, mid-height and top beams, and 200mm reinforced hollow blockwork with vertical and horizontal reinforcement. Walls receive plaster, roughcast finish, silicone primer, and weatherproof paint, plus bituminous coating on foundation walls. New razor wire is installed along the full perimeter and gate. A sliding vehicle gate (3.50m x 2.75m) with a pedestrian door, heavy-duty hardware, peep hole, and concertina wire will be fabricated to ASTM standards. Additional work includes perimeter drainage (brick-lined drains, catch pits, uPVC piping), guard house repairs (roof, door relocation, electrical outlets, drainage), screen wall restoration, and gate-area security lighting. The project concludes with site clean-up, landscape restoration, utility repairs, and repainting of affected surfaces. Contractors must follow strict material, testing, and safety standards (EM 385-1-1, BS/ASTM codes) throughout, with COR oversight on compaction, concrete quality, and reinforcement placement.
