INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS
Sealed Bids:
Each bid shall be printed in ink or typewritten on the form provided in the copy of proposed contract
documents. No alterations, additions, or erasures shall be made on the Proposal Form. The lump sum bid
amount must cover all expenses for furnishing the labor, materials, tools, equipment and furnish all work
required by and in conformance with the specifications and City of Durant ordinances.
Each bid shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Durant, 300 West Evergreen,
Room 100, Durant, Oklahoma, 74701 and identified on the outside with the words:
“Rehabilitation of Landfill Transfer Station Building”
All bids must filed with the City Clerk’s Office located at 300 West Evergreen, Room 100, Durant,
Oklahoma, 74701.
All addenda to the contract documents, properly signed by the bidder shall accompany the bid when
submitted.
Contractor will be provided a letter authorizing purchases related to this contract to be tax exempt

Rehabilitation of Landfill Transfer Station Building
Location Address: 1620 Blanchard Road, Durant, OK, 74701
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to an order by the City of Durant, Oklahoma, sealed bids will be
received at the office of the City Clerk, 300 West Evergreen, Room 100, Durant, OK 74701 for furnishing
all material, equipment, and labor for the following scope of work:
All bids will be opened and considered by the City at a meeting to be held in the City Hall Council
Chambers, located at 300 West Evergreen, Durant, Oklahoma, at 02:00 p.m. on 4-16-26.
Bidders will be responsible for estimating all quantities required for completion of the scope of work and
present a lump sum amount in the bid schedule by examination of the sites. After bids have been
submitted, the bidder shall not assert that there was a misunderstanding concerning the quantities of work.
Information obtained from an officer, agent, or employee of the City of Durant or any other person shall
not affect the risks or obligations assumed by the contractor or relieve him from fulfilling any of the
conditions or the contract.
The City of Durant reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid.
