Construction of a water control structure to manage flows between Green Lake and GBRA’s diversion canal. The superstructure is comprised of NZ26 sheetpile and related connections and reinforcement. The structure includes an inlet overflow weir to allow overflow from the lake above elevation 2.0 ft (datum) and discharge through two 48-in reinforced concrete pipes to the adjacent GBRA diversion canal. Other work includes removal of the old structure remains, inlet and outlet side rock rip rap pads, an upgraded embankment access road extending over the top of the structure, and contractor’s site access development.
