INVITATION TO BID
The County and City of Sumter are requesting bids from SCDES-licensed firms to abate
the asbestos contained in structures located in the Southside of Sumter in accordance
with all SCDES regulations. Bids will be received until 2:00 pm on February 12, 2026, at
the City of Sumter Liberty Center, 12 West Liberty Street, South Carolina 29150. Bid
documents may be obtained from the City of Sumter Procurement Page or by clicking
on this link https://www.sumtersc.gov/procurement/invitation-bid . The County and City
of Sumter reserve the right to reject any or all bids. The County of Sumter reserves the
right to waive any or all technicalities.
