Description



1. Introduction. The Washington Office PPS Job Corps Support Branch has a requirement for a contractor to provide cleaning services for two potable water storage tanks located at the Cass Job Corps Center. The Government is looking to award a Firm Fixed Price type contract to a single contractor who offers the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The tanks are cast-in-place concrete partially embedded below grade with capacities of approximately 20,000 and 30,000 gallons.



The tanks will be drained and take out of service prior to the arrival of the Contractor, if a leak is detected the best practice requires the tanks to be filled the Contractor shall pre-coordinate with the COR and Center staff.



Access to the tank will be through a minimum hatch size of 24” x 24”. Unobstructed road access will be provided.



The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision necessary to perform their work required for the inspection and cleaning of the potable water tanks at Cass Job Corps Center in accordance with the specifications and provisions contained herein.



This project is located at the Cass Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. The address is 21424 North Highway 23, Ozark, AR 72949



2. Applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code. The applicable NAICS code is 562998 - All Other Miscellaneous Waste Management Services $16.5 Million (Size Standard in revenue).





3. Type of Contract to be Awarded. The government anticipates awarding one (1) Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order (PO) as a result of this synopsis and possible solicitation. The PO will be a single, stand-alone contract.





4. Type of Solicitation. The solicitation, if released, will be governed by Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13, “Simplified Acquisition Procedures” and Part 12, “Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services”.



5. Synopsis Posting Period. This synopsis will be posted until 13 January 2025.
