The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order, N0001920G0005 N0001925F2270, to Alliant Techsystems Operations, LLC (a wholly owned subsidiary of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS)), for Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile replenishment spares to support the sustainment of the AARGM program.
This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements” per Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) No. 20-0455, approved by the Director, U&W Procurement Department on 29 January 2021 – redacted version attached to this announcement.
