Description
THIS POST IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE/SYNOPSIS. THIS IS NOT THE SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTE, OR INVITATION FOR BID. PLEASE READ THIS SYNOPSIS CAREFULLY FOR ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION POSTING INFORMATION. THANK YOU.

Synopsis:

The US Fish and Wildlife Service is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Red Rock Lakes NWR Headquarters Renovation. The Red Rock Lakes headquarters office and visitor center is a 2,465 square foot building constructed in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps providing space for visitors from across the country who visit this destination refuge and office space for refuge staff. Harsh weather and heavy use have resulted in the deterioration of the building both externally and internally. The proposed repairs will bring current standards of 2023 NEC Electrical Codes and benefit energy savings. Award will be made on a lowest-price technically acceptable basis.

This procurement action is being solicited as a Firm Fixed Price Contract.

The NAICS code is 236220, with a size standard of $45 million.

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36.

This work involves performing work as defined in the Statement of Work that will be provided when solicitation is issued. Detailed requirements and/or specifications will be listed within the solicitation. A Firm Fixed Price award is contemplated from this solicitation with an award to the offeror(s) providing the best value, based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the solicitation once issued. Project Magnitude: Between $250,000 and $500,000.

Evaluation of interested firms will be based on the following in the Solicitation:

2) Past Experience
¿        Experience with Log Chinking
¿        b) Exterior Media Blasting experience
¿        c) Gutter replacement experience
¿        d) Boiler Install experience
3) Past Performance

Bonding Requirements: 100% Payment Bond, 100% Performance Bond

The solicitation package will include the Solicitation Forms (SF1449), Statement of Work and other attachments as required. Documents will be posted to SAM.gov | Contract Opportunities about 2/23/2026
