Public Notice of Request For Qualifications for Engineering Services

Ouachita County is considering applying for a Community Infrastructure Fund (CIF) Grant from the Delta Regional Authority and other funding sources for a water expansion project.
Ouachita County is interested in acquiring the services of an engineering firm or individual to provide services for the above-referenced project.
Procedures for selection of an individual/firm will be in accordance with DRA procurement requirements. All responses will be evaluated in terms of specialized experience and technical competence; performance; capacity and capability of the firm/individual to perform work; and proximity to and familiarity with the project area. Negotiations will begin with the respondent obtaining the highest total score in the evaluation process.
Interested parties are invited to secure an RFQ package from Shelley Morehead, Southwest Arkansas Planning & Development District, Inc., shelley.morehead@arkansas.gov .( e-mail preferred method) P.O. Box 767, 101 Harvey Couch Boulevard, Magnolia, AR 71754-0767. (870) 235-7504.
All interested parties must submit their response to the RFQ package, 3 paper copies and 1 digital copy, to Shelley Morehead, Southwest Arkansas Planning & Development District, Inc., P.O. Box 767, 101 Harvey Couch Boulevard, Magnolia, AR 71754-0767 (870) 235-7504.
Deadline for receipt of Request for Qualifications is 4:00 p.m. on Monday June 22, 2026.
