Central Street Corridor Water and Sewer Rehabilitation and Replacement

The City of Framingham will be accepting bids for IFB #PW-1196 Central Street Corridor Water and Sewer Rehabilitation and Replacement.  The bid includes water and sewer replacement work on Central Street that includes the replacement of ductile iron water mains; replacement of vitrified clay sewer pipes; replacement of water services and sewer laterals from the main to the back of sidewalk; replacement of hydrants, butterfly valves, and all other applicable water and sewer appurtenant work.

Bid documents can be obtained electronically through the City of Framingham’s Bidnet Direct Portal on Wednesday November 26, 2025 after 10:00 AM:

Sealed bids must be submitted electronically through the City’s Bidnet Direct Portal System. Bids submitted through any other means, such as mail, email or hand delivery, will not be accepted and will be rejected by the City as non-responsive.

Bids shall be submitted through the Bidnet Direct Portal and are due on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the DPW Training Room 100 Western Avenue

The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities and technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
